I remember how lost I felt when I lost my mother. Who else could I tell my problems to? Who would celebrate my joys? Who would listen to me when I had a success and not think I was boasting? My Mom has been gone for over 30 years and she has never been “gone”. I cook as she did, I think as she did and I can feel her displeasure if I do something she disapproved of. When I wash windows, she catches the smudges I missed and I re-do them. I know that you will feel this relationship, too. It happens when love connects us. I know these are hard days for you, and I am glad that you have your girls, your brother and your husband. I am thinking of you and praying that you will find peace. With love, Chris Landon

Sandy was there for me the one time in my life that I really needed someone to talk to and cry on her shoulder. She has been a good friend for many years. We have watched each others children grow-up and attended their weddings. I am going to miss my dear friend but at least she is at peace now.
    Love always,
    Margie

We were privileged to know Sandy and her family when we moved next door to Sandy’s mother in Monticello, IN. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and father. They were both such nice people and will be sadly missed. We appreciate you sharing your family with us over the years. God Bless The McKean’s
